Report from the 2000 end-of-season celebration

On 2 december 2000, the HHF CLUB again organised a big end-of-season party. The  Heinz-Harald Frentzen racing centre "FAHR-WERK" hosted the celebrations in the German city of Groß-Zimmern.

At 11.00 hours a.m., the doors opened in the FAHR-WERK premises for the 330 invited guests. A special exhibition showing articles from HHF CLUB partners Dugena, Importex and AutoBild plus some items of the Club Collection welcomed the visitors to the centre.

By noon, FAHR-WERK was packed by fans and the flag dropped for the third HHF Kart cup. This year, it was divided into an HHF Junior Cup and an HHF Kart Cup for adults. The HHF CLUB members achieved new lap records on the newly-designed Kart track.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen who arrived by 13.30 hours was welcomed with enthusiastic cheers.

Soon, Heinz-Harald gave the first autographs. Meanwhile, the buffett had been opened which had some tasty American food after Heinz-Harald's podium result in Indianapolis.

After the first round of autographs, the super motor show started. The first part was performed by FAHR-WERK's technical head Horst Zimmermann who showed his quadruple engine kart. It is powered by four engines and a total power of 30 hp. Horst showed some impressive laps and left some woderful black marks on the tarmac.

Afterwards, Frank Eisinger and his crew showed another performance. His three junior GP drivers at the age of 6-9 years stunned the audience with their mini bikes (17 kilograms, 6.5 hp and a speed of 60 kph).

Thereafter, the super moto class drivers had to do quite a lot  to impress the public. But Frank Di Pancrazio (Team Moto-Casino), Peter Jost and Joachim Bauer doubtlessly managed to do s with their 50 hp bikes.

Towards the end of the show, trial expert Martin Bereiter and his son showed breath-taking performances in their trial bike.

In the second round of autograph signings, Heinz-Harald patiently and coolly answered to all questions.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen, René Sauerwein and presenter Mathias Merget finally honoured the kart drivers and fan speakers.

First of all, the winners of the HHF Junior Cup received their awards.

Heinz-Harald personally signed the trophies for Benjamin Rische (1st), Sascha Haida (2nd) and Sascha Köllner (3rd). In the HHF Kart Cup, the winners have been Danny Warschun (1st), Frank Thorn (2nd) and Holger Schneider (3rd). The quickest woman on track was Angeliane Mueller from the Netherlands.

Additionally, all the speakers of the twelve HHF Fan meeting points received certificates and a signed HHF calendar each.

The winners of the competitions also received prices.

Ten of the twelve lucky people attended the celebrations and received their prices directly from Heinz-Harald.

To satisfy all members, Heinz-Harald decided to give autographs in a third round.

After everybody was satisfied, „Michael Jackson“-lookalike Giuseppe from Darmstadt enthused the audience with his show. As a highlight, he was dancing together with Heinz-Harald Frentzen during Michael Jackson's song „Billy Jean“.

At 17.30 hours, Heinz-Harald said good-bye to his fans and thanked the crowd for their wishes for the new season.

The celebrations eventually came to a nice end during in the Heinz-Harald Frentzen Club lounge.
